About Cydney Ciacci,
M.A., CCC-SLP
Cydney is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist licensed in Pennsylvania and the founder of NeuroPath Speech Therapy, LLC. For over 10 years, Cydney has specialized in treating adults recovering from stroke, brain injury, brain tumor, and other neurological conditions. Over the years, Cydney has gained her experience working in nationally recognized inpatient acute rehabilitation hospitals, outpatient facilities, and teletherapy settings in both Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. She is happy to be able to use her skills and knowledge to help clients navigate the challenges and complexities when transitioning back home and into the real world after life-altering events.
Cydney earned her Bachelor's Degree with honors in Communication Sciences and Disorders from James Madison University and her Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from The George Washington University.
Cydney specializes in treating adults with aphasia, motor speech disorders, cognitive-communication impairments, and swallowing disorders. She also has extensive experience working with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Furthermore, she holds a certification in the highly effective Parkinson’s SPEAK OUT!® Therapy method. Cydney is committed to learning and keeping up to date with current research and skilled practices.
Cydney is passionate about collaborating with individuals and their loved ones to meet client goals by providing compassionate, individualized care through the use of meaningful activities, counseling, compensatory strategy training, education, and evidenced-based therapeutic techniques. Cydney aims to build trusting relationships with both clients and their families to empower and support them throughout the therapeutic process. Throughout your path to recovery, Cydney is not only your speech therapist but also your advocate and supporter.
In her free time, Cydney enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two sons.
